I was pretty anxious going in for my procedure. But I immediately felt comfortable once I was called to go back, Dr. Sherrill and his nurse explained every step of the procedure, before and aa it was being done.

A very pleasant environment and from the first contact at check in it was a great experience. The nurse and the doctor were wonderful and I wish all of my medical appointments/experiences were like this.Nobody would want surgery on their scalp but if you have to go through it this is the place to go. WONDERFUL PRACTICE

Dr. Ibrahim is friendly, caring and fun to talk with. He is also a very skilled surgeon. My results were better than I could have imagined. He even called me later that evening to check on me. The entire staff at RDS is top notch. The friendly nurses will quickly get you out of the waiting room and prepared for your visit. This is the place to go for Dermatology!

From the time I arrived at the front desk to checkin to the time I walked out after my procedure, I would describe the experience as world class in every way. The receptionist was quick to offer a smile and warm welcome, the escorting nurse/assistant was friendly and informative as to what I should expect and also gave a tour, the assisting nurse walked me through the procedure and described every step in detail, and the surgeon was fantastic. I arrived at my appointment somewhat nervous but was treated with such kindness that my fears quickly left me. Everyone of the staff was wonderful. Even though a one hour appointment ended up lasting 5 hours I was never left alone for a prolonged amount of time. I was given food and drink. Everything was explained before it happened. Awesome experience with Dr. Bender!!! Dr. Bender was very knowledgeable and personable.She quickly recognized a skin condition I've been struggling with for months. This was my second Mohs Surgery with Dr. Sipprell. He is the best!! Why is he the best? He is extremely skilled at his craft. With both procedures, I experienced minimal pain, and my scars are virtually undetectable which is extremely important to me. His positive bedside manner is an added bonus. Dr. Sipprell displays a deep commitment to patient well-being, going above and beyond to address all aspects of my health needs. He also followed up with a personal phone call that same day to check on me. I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with the staff as well. From the front desk, to the nurses. It's somewhat frightening when you have to have surgery to remove a spot of skin cancer from your face. Dr Ibrahim and his staff were patient with my questions, explaining every step of the process to me. After the surgery, at times I was concerned about the healing process so I used the text messaging service. That way they could call me back after they looked into my question when they weren't with any other patients. The nurses who called me back were very kind and very informative which put me at ease. At my follow up appointment from the receptionist at the front desk, the nurses and the doctor I just felt at home. I would recommend this office to everyone. They are absolutely wonderful

This was my first interaction with Rochester dermatology for basal cell moh’s surgery. From check in to the actual procedure my experience could not have been better. Everyone I interacted with was both very professional as well as personable. Dr. Ibrahim is, as well as his staff, a credit to their profession. Although I truly hope I will not need their services in the future, if I do I know I will be in very capable hands!

The place is bright, and clean. A lot of windows! This was my first appt. They went out of their way to fit me in even though they had never seen me before. They made it easy. A pleasant surprise. The receptionist was efficient. The nurse was professional, kind, and accommodating. Dr. Ibrahim was calm, confident, and relaxed enough to laugh. That both calmed me down, and allowed me to trust him. I'm glad I was able to. I've had many bad experiences in the past. I've already made my next appt. I won't be going back to my old dermatologist.

A cancer diagnosis is daunting, but from the moment I entered RDC, I felt an enormous reduction in my anxiety. The check in process was quick, and within 5 minutes I found myself comfortably ensconced in my private room. Ambient music played quietly in the background. I felt as though I was at a spa! Everyone I encountered was informative and patient. Dr. Sipprell was friendly, energetic and highly capable. After the procedure I was given clear instructions for my post procedure care . That evening, Dr. Sipprell called to make sure all was well with me. It was!!

Professional yet friendly. Staying in the room with a TV to watch for the wait time for the cells to be examined, with my friend was very relaxing. Knowing when I walked out that the cancer cells were gone, was very freeing. Doctor Ibrams calling me in the evening was above what any doctor has done. The fun fact they shared earlier with me was I was one of their first patients five years ago.

I’ve had Mohs surgery twice before and this place was definitely the best. The staff and doctor were personable and supportive. The lab evaluation took only 45 minutes and the entire process was about an hour and a half, which is amazing. I highly recommend them.

Great staff made for a very good experience

I did not feel like a new patient, I felt very comfortable. The nurses were awesome and very informative. I only saw the Dr for a short period of time when he was working on my forehead and stitches, but he was wonderful and made me feel comfortable also.

The office is efficient, caring and compassionate . Dr. Ibrahim has a wonderful bedside manner and even took the time to call me at 9pm the day of my surgery. Rochester, NY needs more offices like this. Medically they are quick, efficient and work as a team. I would give this office a 5/5.

I was hopeful with this first experience at Rochester Dermatological Surgery that they were competent. They quickly surpassed my limited expectations and demonstrated a patient centered approach that put me at ease. I can truthfully say that I have never experienced a practice with such consistently cheerful, helpful and friendly staff. Apparently it is possible to be professional and put the patient at ease. Everyone took the time to explain all the procedures before and during the surgery. There was never a moment that made me wonder what comes next. The setting is as comfortable as possible and the doctor’s follow-up call that evening was appreciated. It sets a high bar for any other practices to clear.

My Mohs procedure went very well. My nurse Sue, did a thorough gob of going over everything before Dr Ibrahim came into the room. While I waited in a gown, Sue offered me coffee, pretzels and a warm blanket. Nice touch!!! Margins were not totally clear and Dr Ibrahim had to take additional tissue to achieve satisfactory results. I got a call that night from the doctor to check on my status. Rochester Dermatologic Surgery is top notch and I feel as though the Mohs procedure will prevent a more serious issue in the future.

I had a small patch of skin cancer on my ear that I needed removed. At Rochester Dermatology the doctor performed the painless removal in just a few minutes after a brief consultation. They tested the small piece that was removed right on site. Within the hour the results showed that the doctor had removed all of the skin cancer from my ear. Everyone was so kind and caring, explaining everything in detail. I was sent home with a page of care instructions and even got a call at home from the doctor later that day to See how I was doing. I don't think I've ever been treated so well in a physician's office by everyone involved in my treatment and care! The nurses were friendly and informed. Dr Ibrahim remembered me from past visits, and made me feel comfortable and at ease during surgery. I was so pleased to get a follow-up call later that evening directly from Dr. Ibrahim. It felt like family checking on me!

All of the staff here were amazing, friendly and personable and the offices are very nice and clean. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dr. Ibrahim even called the next day to check on me. There is still such a thing as a good bedside manner 🙂

My experience at Rochester Dermatologic Surgery was an over the top experience. The building was clean ,bright, and uplifting. Each employee from start to finish was pleasant, kind, and courteous. They would stay with you and physically escort you to the next step of the visit. While the actual procedure was performed the doctor was very skillful and kept me informed as he performed each step of the surgery. I had an infiltrative Basal cell carcinoma removed from the center of my forehead. The staff was friendly, listened to my concerns and questions, and responded thoughtfully and thoroughly. I felt comfortable and confident with Dr. Ibrahim. My aftercare was explained including what to watch for, and I was encouraged to contact the office with any concerns. What impressed me the most was the evening of my surgery, Dr. Ibrahim himself called me at home to ask how I was feeling and if I had any questions or concerns. I was referred RDS by a dermatologist in Canandaigua after a biopsy showed squamous cell cancer on my leg. I was told Mohs surgery was needed. Although I had to wait approximately 2 months for an appointment, I am so thankful I was treated by Dr. Ibrahim and his wonderful Nurse Assistant, Sue. Once they both inspected my leg, at my leg, Dr. Ibrahim carefully explained two options for treatment. After patiently responding to a number of my questions, I opted for electrodessication & curettage instead of Mohs. I’m confident this was the best route for me. Throughout my experience, I felt valued, respected, and under the best of care. Five Stars all around!

My experience was simply awesome. Dr Sipprell, nurse Victoria are as good as it gets.They talk you through everything, make you feel comfortable, and put you at ease. It is virtually painless. The facility is state of the art. Once you are in your room, you don’t have to leave. You wait in the room after your biopsy is taken, and they give you a remote for the tv in the room, and for the bed you have your surgery on to position it to be comfortable while you wait. Great experience, thank you both for your compassion. This facility was well thought out.

Roger: I had an appt with Rochester Dermatologic Surgery to have cancerous area removed from my face. Dr William H Sipprell was to do Mohhs surgery on me. He met with me before my surgery and did an excellent job explaining Mohs surgery which calmed my apprehension. Dr, Sipprell is an excellent Doctor. Very friendly and provided detailed information on his procedure. I would recommend him to anyone. However the staff at the office leaves much to be desired. I had to call three times to make my initial appointment and then played telephone tag for two days. My procedure went well and needed a followup appointment which I made. When I returned home I noticed that I had a double appointment that day so I called the office to reschedule. They do not answer the phone but you need to leave your name and number and they indicate that someone would contact me within 48 hours. As when I was trying to make my initial appointment, I did not receive the call. After three days I had to drive to their office to reschedule. While the doctor is excellent the office staff leaves much to be desired thus the one star rating.

Upon arrival at the Victor Facility, we found the receptionist and the nurses very calm and cordial. The genuine kindness put us at ease as we prepared for the outpatient surgery. We couldn't help but notice that the facility was spotlessly clean, and the piped in music was very calming. The surgeon and his assistant were outstanding. They obviously have anticipated, and addressed all possible questions while we discussed the process and prognosis. I have full confidence in Dr. Sipprell and his assistant Amanda. My incision has healed and I am confident with the results.

Probably the most comforting and caring medical team I have ever experienced. Although Dr Ibrahim may have had some staff in training, every single one of the staff I interfaced with, 7 or 8 in total, was courteous, knowledgeable and caring. Were it possible I would rate this office a 10+.

Everyone was very friendly and professional. they fully explained what was going to take place and complete instructions for after care. If I have one comment on the negative side it is that my appointment was for 9:30 and at about 9:30 I was taken into the surgery room. Then waited for over half an hour to see the doctor. This has happened with other doctors in the past too. I understand their schedule can get backed up, but why not have someone come in periodically to give an update. And why not a simple “sorry” for the delay?

My experiences with both the cosmetic laser procedure, mole check and moh surgery were exceptional! From reception, to wait time, nurses and doctor. If I could give this center a 10 I would!

Regarding the office of Rochester Dermatological Surgery located in Victor, NY. This was my 2nd visit in 2 years to the surgery in order to remove beta cells from my face. I just took the bandage off… Well done Dr. Ibrahim! Nice, neat and clean! I sought medical attention for a bump on my back, which turned out to be a cyst (from squatting). I scheduled for it to be removed. Meeting Dr. Ibrahim for the first time, he introduced himself and expertly diagnosed my condition. He explained the recommended course of action, sought my consent, and skillfully performed the procedure. Leaving his care, I had a bandage securely in place and a clear understanding of what to anticipate, as well as specific instructions for aftercare—what actions to take and what to avoid. Normally, I am not fond of doctor visits, but this experience was refreshingly different, in the best possible way. Dr. Ibrahim's facility is a stand-alone structure, it is super clean and beautiful. It felt more like a spa rather than a typical doctor's office or surgical center. I was also pleased to find convenient parking just 20 feet from the entrance, rather than having to trek half a mile. The entire staff displayed politeness, kindness, and a willingness to assist! Further, he refrained from requiring a follow-up appointment, indicating his confidence in his work and his lack of monetary motives, thus avoiding unnecessary visits that would waste my time and money. I was so impressed with this place. The Dr Sipprell and his nurses were exceptional. They put me at ease and they treated you like you were their only patient. Just loved them all . They cared so much!

The man is on the cutting edge of Medicine. Dr Ibrahim is an excellent Dr in his field and very personable. A likable person who saves lives. Concerning staff, the number one characteristic is that they have excellent capabilities. This was the first time in my life (more years than most people reading this) that I did not feel the injection of lidocaine given to me by Kristin. Once the lidocaine takes effect, you don't feel the surgery. But the lidocaine injection always hurts....except this time. Wow. Stitches, bandaging, assisting the doctor all performed with expertise. I highly recommend this Dr and staff for dermatological surgery.

It was my first visit to the office and I was very impressed. Starting with the information that was mailed prior to my visit, to yesterday's procedure, the entire team was exceptional. Everyone explained what they would be doing, and made sure I understood and was comfortable with the aftercare plan. Doctor Ibrahim even called me last evening to see how I was doing. Everything about my experience was great.

I had Mohs surgery for treatment of a squamous cell carcinoma on my scalp. Everything about the office made it a positive experience. They were welcoming and punctual. Dr. Sipprell and the nurse made sure I was totally informed as to what to expect during and after surgery. My appointment lasted approximately 2 hours, during which time I was in a private room with Roku TV and offered snacks and drinks. I highly recommend this office.

By far the best experience I have had at a Doctor’s office. Everyone is knowledgeable, professional and are polite and friendly. It is a great feeling when a patient can tell that people enjoy their jobs. The whole procedure was explained to me before they started the anything. Dr. Sipprell explained exactly what he was going to do and did the procedure quickly and efficiently. Since this was my first time for this procedure, I didn’t know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised.

The complete team was outstanding. All were great and the Dr was outstanding.

I have received the services of Dr. William Sipprell at RDS twice. Once two years ago to remove a basil cell carcinoma from my nose, which required a skin graft to repair, and once recently to remove two moles from my back. Dr. Sipprell is a highly skilled surgeon and an artist when it come to repairs of the skin. In addition, he makes you feel like an old friend as soon as he meets you, putting you at ease. The young nurses that assist him are also highly trained at their duties and are very friendly and empathetic, making your visit much less stressful. I would highly recommend the entire team if you are in need of any dermatologic treatment.

This appointment was for MOHS surgery. The staff were pleasant, coffee and snacks were good and plentiful and Dr. Ibrahim is absolutely fantastic! He takes the time to explain what needs to be done and follows up with you after the procedure.

From the moment I walked in to the moment I was walked out I was treated compassionately. Both nurses were well attentive, even down to details of changing the station on the Hulu tv to getting me warm blankets. The dr was very very nice and explained what was happening.

I received IPL laser therapy for dark, pigmented, freckles. Dr. Sipprell takes the necessary time to explain the procedure and what to expect after the treatment. He is very cheerful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be with! Likewise, the office staff is very helpful and cheerful, and there is a wonderful spirit in their office. In addition, their office is modern and beautiful and their beverages and snack tray make it all a very pleasurable experience. I would not go anywhere else!

Going to the surgery center for a skin cancer Mohs procedure, I was focused on just getting though the day. This was one of the most welcoming professional doctor visits I have ever been to. I went in feeling anxious and everyone from the receptionist, nurses, and Dr Sipprell were amazing, kind, caring and attentive. They made me feel very comfortable. The office is very clean and feels kind of like a spa which made me feel a little at ease. My procedure took quite a long time since they had to go back 4 times to get it all but it was as relaxing and calming as I could possibly imagine any medical procedure being. My procedure was clearly explained to me every step of the way. I cannot say enough positive words about my care there and the after care I have received so far. I highly recommend this office.

Both care of me around my surgery as well as the all essential DURING my surgery warrants full stars recognition. Rochester Dermatologic Surgery scheduled me efficiently through my wonderful dermatologist's office. Then when the schedule had to be tweaked, they got in touch and fit me in the same day as I expected at a different time. Check in staff, nurse, and surgeon each smoothed my way. Thorough numbing of the site, and EBP surgery got me home and mending, well educated about my care and expectations. I am grateful and relieved to have melanoma removed safely! Awesome staff!
